Qi'ra is trying to block my shot on the goal.

This is the only time she has sat with me it pretty rare because she is always on an adventure.

One of the bouncy balls rolled under the china cabinet and Qi'ra is helping me find it.

How did it get up there?  Well, I will have to climb to get it.

Qir'a's Story

While we were unpacking from Family Camp 2018, we went outside to play a game of smash ball in the court.  Suddenly, Griffin spotted a little kitten which was tan and white.  I immediately turned my head and slowly approached it so I could work my magic and tame it since we hadn't seen this cat before.  It just so happens that we found out that Nancy had trapped this cat, taken it to the pound, and figured she was done with it.  However, the pound spayed her and then returned her to Nancy's front yard.  From there this cat found its way to our yard and the taming process was to begin.  Mom and Dad went on a walk together, the new cat was at our front door begging to meet and greet his newly adopted owner.  Then it spotted the cat food bag.  I had been told not to feed it, but I did it anyway because I was overcome by its cuteness.  All it took then was for us to name her and so we reached into the Star Wars universe and came out with Qi'ra, from Solo.  The next day, I was worried that the cat wouldn't still be there, and she was gone...  Mom said that we should get to work on our school.  I slumped, grabbed my computer and started on Veritas and JiJi.  When I turned my head, I noticed Qi'ra had returned to our back door for lunchtime...and she has been making a habit of it ever since.

I am so glad that she came back, maybe she can be buddies with Kylo?

Now, how about I get to explore the inside of the house too?

Kylo's Time at The Vet

Garrett takes Kylo on a walk around the backyard while he is recovering.  What we didn't know is Kylo was planning his escape through the fence which led to Garrett going through the fence after him.

Can I have some food?  You might have to spoon feed me because this cone gets in the way of everything.

Kylo really didn't want to stay on the examination table.  His first goal was to the get the heck out of the room, so we kept putting him back up there.  He was clearly the loudest cat ever at the vet office, in fact, we barely hear a meow from him now...did they take his vocal cords too?

They let me out to get some fresh air and I quickly ran away from them to hide amongst the couches and chairs under the awning, but eventually I would end up back in the bathroom.

A brief hiatus from my bathroom banishment, it is good to see the outside, well inside world.

The cone of shame...really?  What did I do to deserve this?

Kylo needed some company while he recovered, so I did Veritas in his shower.

Have I been banished to the bathroom?

Kylo is not so sure this is the best place to sleep, and I see you have been shaved by the vet.

Being in the Vet is no fun.

And it is really terrifying.

You gave me some stuffed animals great.

Yes, the hammock is a way better place to sleep.

I love you pillow, you are so comfy.

This is Kylo's normal day just chilling and relaxing.

Kylo is in jail but he looks ok with it.

Kylo is ready for any food, treat, or snack. He likes a lot of attention.

Kylo loves his lightsaber because if a skunk comes and tries to steal his food he will use it to get it out of here.

After twenty minutes of meowing, I decided to go outside to do school and pet Kylo who was confessing his cuteness.

Kylo loves being rubbed on the chin so he leans to the right.

Kylo is being fiercely bombed by a bold Biston bomber, but Kylo has his deflector shields up.

Kylo's Story

After the death of Theo, a new black cat entered our lives.  Kylo came to us when we returned from Sri Lanka.  He got his name from Star Wars lore, of course.  We almost named him "Toothless" after the How to train your dragon character, but Kylo stuck.  He had problems from the beginning with his abnormally shaped left ear.  We took him to the vet to get neutered and he was not happy to be going there, but we picked him back up and brought him home and he was content again.  Later, though he would develop an abscess on the back of his left ear and have to go back to the veterinary clinic.  He remembered his first visit to the vet and was not about to let us forget it.  He cried so loud in his carrier that he made the vet tech believe there was a cat outside hurt when she was coming back inside, but indeed it was Kylo making the racket so loud that you could hear him outside.
