Kylo and Qi'ra Together

When Qi'ra came around, she was a little more aggressive than Kylo.  She would steal his food and definitely wanted in the house more.  Qi'ra taught Kylo had to play again.

I do triple duty here...Veritas on the computer, Kylo in my lap, and playing with Qi'ra with a toy.

Our cats' outside personalities

Garrett loves the cat company while he does IEW.

We went to the tennis court, right down from our house. Theo missed us, so he decided to tag along. We said, "the more the merrier", and Theo followed us. We bounced the ball back and forth. Theo slowly moved his eyes back and forth when the ball bounced to the other side. Then we were done and we walked back home with him.

 Griffin was sad so he went outside and snuggle with Leia and felt better after. 

Leia was waiting for us on the blue car so I went over to pet her. 

Sometimes Theo doesn't want to go in inside so I go outside to pet him. 

Leia loves lying on the comfy couch it looks like she has the time of her life.  

Leia took the high ground and Luke took the low ground but they look great together.

Our Cats Holiday and Birthday Experiences

Theo, Leia, and Luke got a hammock for Christmas. 

Theo didn't like it as much as Luke and Leia so he jumped out.

Garrett leaped and yelled Theo don't leave! come back! were not done here!

Three months after Luke died I got him an ornament to hang on the Christmas tree on Christmas.

We gave Luke a present. Inside the gift was a treat bag. Luke thought the wrapping paper was a monster when I ripped the wrapping paper because it made noise.

It was Luke and Leia birthday today. Luke sat down then when I gave him his present He stared at it. I ripped it open for him but He thought it was a monster and ran to the door. When he smelled the treats that were in the present he slowly approached it then I tossed him one.  He ran and munched on the treat. Those treats didn't last long because there were three cats munching on them.

It was a special day. It was Luke and Leia's birthday. They got a spiky ball, a tickle thing, a cat treat bag, and a laser. They were playing with them continuously.

Leia is confronting Qi'ra who wants trouble.  This is a common occurrence when we go outside to play whiffle ball or street hockey.

Leia and Qi'ra finish their fight in a draw so they took a nap near the car together.

Leia and Kylo

Leia snuggles on her blanket with cat heads that I got on Christmas from Grammy.  Kylo is curled up on my lap while I was reading the rise of Scourge from Cat Warriors.

Leia thinks that the black cat is an intruder to the food and couches.  Leia had gotten used to being the only cat around after Theo died.  Kylo does not care at all, he has no desire to come inside but enjoys looking inside to see what is going on.

Luke and Leia

This is when Luke and Leia first arrived in our backyard.  Luke was content with becoming one of our tiles.

They never ate separated. They would share their food but if one was full and one was still hungry. They would meet each other's needs.

Leia with Theo

Leia and Theo are taking a pleasant nap.  They became friends after Luke died.

                           Leia likes her hammock.  Theo does not like pictures and wants to go outside.

Theo and Leia are both sun lovers.

Qi'ra and Deebot

"Go get her.  Qi'ra target acquired.  Begin rapid fire on that rouge cat.

Lyra and Kylo

Kylo and Lyra shared a table to sit on. Lyra sits on the bottom and Kylo lays on the top. They made a cat bunk bed, or maybe a double-decker couch.

Lyra and Darth Vader

This is our sixth cat.  She is kind of a scared cat, but she's not too afraid. You can't touch her because she runs away a lot. She likes eating and resting in the sun. We have made a name for herself, but it has been changed a lot of times.  At first she was just Grey Kitty, but we had to talk about her in front of class and were ashamed to call her just Grey Kitty, so we have decided that her name shall be Lyra (from Star Wars Rogue One).

Lyra has a mane which makes her look a little like a lion.

Lyra takes a look around while Kylo and Qi'ra are busy messing with Leia out front.

Darth Vader said hi to Lyra.  Lyra exclaimed, "Scratch me down and I will become more powerful then you can possibly imagine".

Lyra sits by her food bowl and her super sneaky secret exit in the fence.  Once Qi'ra came around, Lyra was banished to the fence walkway and she chose to eat on top of the large plastic cabinet outside.  Now she happily greets us in the morning and tries to get petted and rub up into Mom's face and almost fall off the cabinet.

Lyra waits for you to put food in her bowl then she walks over to eat.

Darth Vader loves sitting by the lemon tree because he can see the whole yard and there is an exit if he's scared off.

Another cat came to look around. I ran outside. I wanted to adopt it, so I tried to feed him. We named him Darth Vader. He is a lot nicer now. but we still can't pet him.
