Leia with Theo

Leia and Theo are taking a pleasant nap.  They became friends after Luke died.

                           Leia likes her hammock.  Theo does not like pictures and wants to go outside.

Theo and Leia are both sun lovers.

Qi'ra and Deebot

Incoming Deebot, prepare to charge.

"Go get her.  Qi'ra target acquired.  Begin rapid fire on that rouge cat.

Lyra and Kylo

Kylo and Lyra shared a table to sit on. Lyra sits on the bottom and Kylo lays on the top. They made a cat bunk bed, or maybe a double-decker couch.

Lyra and Darth Vader

This is our sixth cat.  She is kind of a scared cat, but she's not too afraid. You can't touch her because she runs away a lot. She likes eating and resting in the sun. We have made a name for herself, but it has been changed a lot of times.  At first she was just Grey Kitty, but we had to talk about her in front of class and were ashamed to call her just Grey Kitty, so we have decided that her name shall be Lyra (from Star Wars Rogue One).

Lyra has a mane which makes her look a little like a lion.

Lyra takes a look around while Kylo and Qi'ra are busy messing with Leia out front.

Darth Vader said hi to Lyra.  Lyra exclaimed, "Scratch me down and I will become more powerful then you can possibly imagine".

Lyra sits by her food bowl and her super sneaky secret exit in the fence.  Once Qi'ra came around, Lyra was banished to the fence walkway and she chose to eat on top of the large plastic cabinet outside.  Now she happily greets us in the morning and tries to get petted and rub up into Mom's face and almost fall off the cabinet.

Lyra waits for you to put food in her bowl then she walks over to eat.

Darth Vader loves sitting by the lemon tree because he can see the whole yard and there is an exit if he's scared off.

Another cat came to look around. I ran outside. I wanted to adopt it, so I tried to feed him. We named him Darth Vader. He is a lot nicer now. but we still can't pet him.

Tabby

Tabby is Aunt Jeanette's favorite cat.  She was originally a stray who converted to a house cat and then became diabetic requiring medications.  I met her in Idaho and always looked forward to seeing her when we would visit.  Here I am enjoying watching Puss in Boots with her.  She was a long hair cat, so she liked to shed her hair on you when she was happily being petted.  Tabby died at the age of 13 in 2018.

Qir'a's Experience with Ping Pong

What are you doing, Qi'ra, on the ping pong table? Your head is stuck and if you stay, you better watch out for Griffin's flaming ping pong balls!

Griffin and Mom were playing ping pong and then Qi'ra snatched it away before it could get to Griffin.

Incoming ball, time to duck...or move!

This is exhausting work!

Then she carried it away. Griffin and mom blurted, "interception by Qi'ra."

Qi'ra Relaxes

Qi'ra has been so tired lately but she has discovered three new resting places.

Qi'ra is just chilling in the shade.

Qi'ra asks, "why did you wake me, I was having a nice rest."

In the morning Kylo and Qi'ra were not in their favorite spots because it was blazing hot that day. They both were lying on the floor and they looked at each other and were too hot to get up and play.  So they just laid there staring at each other.

Qi'ra doesn't quite know how to snuggle yet, but she likes to lay and roll on the floor just like our other cat Leia.
